It’s hard to believe we’re already a few weeks into a new school year at Paragon Prep Preschool! We’ve jumped right in, and our kiddos have been busy learning, making new friends, settling into their classrooms, and getting used to all of the routines that come with a new year.
We started the year by really focusing on our classrooms and our school. Our students have spent time getting to know their teachers and classmates, exploring their new spaces, learning classroom expectations, and figuring out what it means to be part of their new classroom community. There’s always a lot of change at the beginning of the year, but it’s been so fun to watch everyone start to settle in and see those new friendships forming.
Now we’ve jumped into our “All About Me” unit, and there is so much for our kiddos to explore! They’re learning about everything from their families and where they live to their favorite things, their bodies, and even their fingerprints. It’s such a fun way for our students to learn more about themselves while also learning just how much they have in common with the friends around them.
One of my favorite parts of the beginning of a new school year is watching everything start to click. The drop-offs get a little easier, our friends start walking into their classrooms like they own the place, new friendships form, and suddenly the school starts to feel like their school again.
We have so much planned for this year, and we’re just getting started. We can’t wait to see where all of this learning, exploring, and growing takes our Paragon Knights this year!
