This year, our Paragon Prep Preschool community honored Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his teachings in meaningful, age-appropriate ways, showing that even our youngest learners can begin to understand big ideas like kindness, fairness, and helping others.
Throughout the day, classrooms talked about Dr. King’s message of peace and his dreams for a better world. Teachers guided conversations around what it means to be kind, how we can help one another, and how small actions, like sharing, using gentle hands, and including friends can make a difference in both our school and home communities.
Even our youngest students participated by working together on peace projects and creating collaborative works of art. These projects focused on cooperation, connection, and caring for one another, helping children experience Dr. King’s teachings through hands-on learning and shared creativity.
In our preschool classrooms students shared their own dreams and practiced empathy through play, conversation, and teamwork. It was a beautiful reminder that learning about peace and respect can begin early and grow through everyday moments.
We are proud of our students for honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy in ways that reflect the heart of our community through kindness, collaboration, and care for one another.
