Only At Paragon

We understand that parents have many choices for their child’s education. From other prestigious local private schools to top-notch area public schools the competition is fierce. So what makes families choose Paragon Prep and stay until their child graduates? The fact that so many great things can be found #OnlyAtParagon. Let us tell you more.

Work Hard. Play Hard.

Whether it’s academics, social events, clubs and activities, or sports, Paragon Prep keeps the motto “Work Hard, Play Hard” at the center of everything we do. We firmly believe that with hard work comes satisfaction not only in the results, but in the journey. This philosophy is essential to the growth and development of our students and teachers, as it instills the value of learning from mistakes and continuously improving oneself to better help others. Working hard and taking pride in one’s achievements is not just our motto, it is at the core of everything we do.

Our Special Projects
Athletics Program
At Paragon Prep, we offer physical education for all students everyday. Whether you are a seasoned athlete on one of our championship-level sports teams or participating in our Junior Paragon Athletic Development (JPAD) camp, there is a place for everyone. Athletics at Paragon is more than just competing for the trophy, but also about finding an outlet after a busy school day, learning about proper nutrition, and forging lifelong friendships. All PK-8th grade students learn techniques on body movement, agility training, strength and conditioning, and yoga stretching by certified instructors. Athletics at Paragon is not just for sports, it’s training for life.
6th Grade World Cultures
Paragon students will enter the real world with a deep appreciation for the beauty of diversity and the importance of exploring different cultures and beliefs. We encourage our students to embrace and immerse themselves with the dynamic and ever-changing world around them. Our sixth grade curriculum includes a comprehensive study of the world’s religions, accompanied by visits to different places of worship in our community. This exposes our students to different groups of people, fostering a sense of respect and tolerance for all.
Fall Fest
Paragon Knights and their families show school pride at our Fall Fest. This event is a fun way to celebrate all the great things about autumn while building school spirit and camaraderie! This full day competition tests the college teams in academic and athletic contests. Events at Fall Fest include US History Recall, English Word Scramble, Pictionary, Nuke ‘Em, Kickball and more! This day is the full embodiment of Work Hard, Play Hard!
Valor
Paragon’s Valor program is one-of-a-kind! A built in student support network of education professionals assists students learn content, study skills, organization, motivation, and anything your student may have missed along the way. The Valor staff also assists with any students who have learning differences and becomes the liaison between teachers, students, and learning support professionals. The ultimate goal of the program is to provide support for each student to embrace his or her abilities and acquire an individualized method of learning to maximize strengths and achieve success within the classroom.
Science and Innovation
Paragon is developing a Science and Innovation program to support a tech friendly education from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Every spring, Paragon hosts a Science and Innovation Night to showcase student learning. Students develop and present projects to encourage an innovative community!
Colleges

The Paragon Colleges program motivates students to get involved in academics, events, and extracurriculars. Divided into lower and upper school groups, students are assigned to a “college,” encouraging healthy competition in a fight for the trophy.

This multi-grade system promotes respect, service, collaboration, and responsibility. Older students serve as role models for younger students to emulate, while the younger students get a feeling for becoming future leaders. Competitions include a paper airplane contest, school flag design contest, Rock-Paper-Scissors, dress up days, and donation drives for local philanthropic organizations!
