Relocating from New Orleans to Austin because of Hurricane Katrina was a blessing in disguise! What started as a traumatic event turned into a fairytale in which Laura Luther met her husband in Austin and now they have 3 beautiful children.
Laura Luther taught math and science for 7 years as an elementary and middle school teacher for Pflugerville Independent School District. While teaching for PISD, Laura obtained her Principal Certification from Concordia University. Her main focus is math and science, but has taught every elementary subject. While inspiring all of her students, she has soared with the Gifted and Talented accumulating with the 2012 “Teacher of the Year Award”.
Her undergraduate degree consists of Business Marketing and Management from Southeastern Louisiana University and her graduate degree consists of a Masters of Education with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of New Orleans. Her experience ranges from working in the business and education industry.
