GIRLS TEAM: 2 or 3 girls are needed to make a TEAM. The top 2 scores will count towards the Trophy.
AWARDS:
Individual awards will be presented to the first 5 places. Players involved in a tie for the
top 5 places will play in a sudden death
playoff hole.
A trophy will be awarded to the
top team. If
two teams are tied for first place, each of the 4 members
(or two if girls) whose scores were counted will hit a tee shot with the
closest to the hole breaking the tie.
Double Par will be the maximum score (ex: 6 for a par 3 or 8 for a par 4) for each hole.
We will play ready golf: This means that when you reach your ball and are ready, hit. When putting, please continue putting until you finish the hole.
Limit practice swings: Try to limit your practice swings to one or two if people are waiting.
Swing and Miss: If you attempt to hit the ball and miss, it does count as a stroke.
A ball hit into the water: The player will drop a ball (drop area) and take a stroke penalty.
A lost ball: The player will drop a ball closest to the point where the ball was lost or went into
the “woods”. This is a one stroke penalty.
Not sure of a Ruling: Play a second ball (in addition to the original ball) and keep both scores. The tournament director will preside over the final decision as to which score would count.
Coaches and Volunteers: Please help to keep up the speed of play. There is NO COACHING during the round (to any player).
