Welcome to The Colleges of Paragon Prep!
The Colleges are a new tradition at Paragon. All students and teachers were assigned to advisory groups last August, and charged with the duty of selecting the name of their Paragon College. Since then, the groups have met regularly to discuss school issues, advise each other, and gear up for contests and competitions. Below are the Colleges of Paragon and the titles they have won this year. We are already looking forward to next year’s draft when new students will be brought into our colleges to replace our graduating seniors.
The Colleges of Paragon convened on Thursday, March 5th, for one of the loudest and most joyful celebrations of the year- the final rounds of the school-wide Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament! Congratulations to everyone for their participation. The initial field of all 115 teachers and students yielded a fine champion - 5th grader Daniel Chastain of Oxford! Daniel took home the coveted trophy and a $20 bill. A shout out to Grant McHorse of Pepperdine for for taking second place, a $2 bill and a can of Spam! Finally, props to Bob Cash for the advancing the farthest of the faculty members, and to the crowd favorite, Jak Holbrook (and his entourage)!
